Wellness Programs

Promote a longer, healthier life for your pet through our specifically
designed wellness programs.  Many conditions which commonly affect
small animals can be detected and addressed early through the use of
advanced metabolic screening tests.  

There are five types of basic tests used to evaluate wellness.  Each test
provides insight into the true health of your pet:

• Complete Blood Count (CBC):  tests for anemia, infection,
  inflammation and overall healthiness of the blood cells.
  

• Chemistry Test:  this panel surveys many  of the organ systems of the
  body to make sure they are working normally.
  

• Thyroid Function Tests:  useful in diagnosing malfunctions of the
  thyroid gland.
  

• Urinalysis:  assesses the health and function of the urinary system
  including helping in early detection of kidney disease.
  

• Parasite Exam:  Fecal- screen for common endoparasites including
  roundworms, hookworms, coccidia and Giardia.  Blood- serum test
  used to screen for the presence of heartworm or other blood-borne
  parasites.
